B/BB

Single panel front and back panels. The surface veneer is considered transparent, without defects, and has a light and uniform color. There can be 3-6 color matching patches on the back, which are oval shaped and egg sized. The inner core is made of solid birch veneer.

BB/BB

Single piece front and back. The front and back finishes allow for an average of 3-6 color matching small patches and some light mineral stripes. There may be tight needle knots. The inner core is a solid single board.

BB/CP

Single piece front and back. The back board of "CP" is downgraded from a "BB" level board, which allows unlimited patches and sound connections, but does not allow open defects. The inner core is made of solid birch veneer.

CP/CP

Single piece front and back. The front and back level veneers allow for unlimited sound knots, repaired cracks, and unlimited patches. The panel emits sound on both sides and is designed specifically for lamination.

C/C

Patches, knots, and small board cracks are allowed. Allow for veneer overlap and small core material gaps. This panel has not been polished and can be used for structural purposes.
